Live Oak Ridge

This boat launch is on the Live Oak Ridge Campground, located downlake on the east shore of Belton Lake, home of some of the best fishing, camping, and boating in Central Texas.  

This facility is operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Driving Directions

From Texas 317 north of Belton, turn west on FM 2305 and south on FM 2271.

About the Park

This park offers 48 sites that range from wooded to open sun.  All campsites have water and electric hookups, plus a covered table and grill.  Campers have access to restrooms with flush toilets and hot showers, a two-lane boat ramp and a dump station.

The park is staffed with full-time gate attendants.  Free wireless internet is available for registered guests, and a camper service center can be used for group parties, meetings and laundry facilities.

Zebra mussels have been found in this reservoir.  Boats, livewells, and bait buckets must be drained of all water before leaving the area.  Get details.
